Sandwiched between Info Assurance Analyst and Clinical Apps. Specialist, lies the Pilates/Yoga Instructor as the 10th Best Job in America. According a report published by CNN Money, yoga instructors are one of the top 100 jobs in the country in 2015. The report says that:

Yoga instructors balance their time between teaching classes that bring the physical and spiritual together, planning what goes into each class and getting the word out about a studio. For many yoga instructors, the ability to transform a person’s day or how they live their livs, both physically and mentally, is the best part of the job.

Yoga teacher Training courses can range from 200 hrs to 500 hrs typically, and cost between $500 and $5000 dollars in most cases. The more exotic the locations (Costa Rica or India for example) the pricier. These are shocking prices given how inexpensive yoga classes can range. Extend Yoga in Washington, D.C. offers an unlimited 2-week class pass for $20. Many studios, like Durham Yoga Company in Durham, also offer free outdoor class once a week in Durham Central Park. Despite the great opportunities to save money, CNN argues that Yoga teachers on average do make very good returns. Their median pay is $62,400 and the top pay is $119,000.

OM…What? This is great news for people who are looking to turn up their yoga practice and take the leap into teacher training. Especially if they had already considered taking some Dominican University of California online courses for teachers but wanted to blend in their passion for yoga into it.

Obviously, it is completely subjective on what you personally consider the ‘best job’. You may look at yoga teaching and be completely repulsed by the idea. Realistically, we can’t all be yogaup teachers but we can have rewarding careers that help people in the same way yoga is benefitting others. Choosing jobs that involve aiding others shows a true sense of empathy, which could be applied to Eden Private Staff, who range from maternity nurses, personal assistants, and private chauffeurs. Getting involved with these types of careers gives a rewarding feeling that others have been helped by you, as does yoga.
