It is important to try different things in all aspects of your life, including your workouts. Try out some of these unique workout classes this Summer to broaden your horizons.
1. Aerial Yoga
Also sometimes called Anti-gravity Yoga is a new, fun way to practice yoga. If you are feeling adventurous or just want to try a different type of yoga, give this a try!
This cardio-based workout combines Pilates, isometric movements and plyometrics. You use drumsticks to pound to the beat as you workout.
3. Barre Workouts
Based off the core practices of ballerinas, this workout is great for your core, legs, and butt. After this workout you will feel as graceful as a ballerina.
If you are looking for a good high-intensity workout Tabata is a great option. It is broken up into 20 second high-intensity workout and then 10 second rests. Most workouts are about 20 minutes long.
5. Boot camp
Another great way to get cardio in while also challenging yourself is through a boot camp class. This is great to do with friends or a partner if you are the competitive type. It also mixes cardio and strength training in a total body workout, so prepared to be sore the next day.
